Fall 2010:
DREAM:
A few months ago I had a dream and meant to blog it. I wrote down a few scribblings on a piece of paper. It was the eventual “sex dream” – you knew it was coming, eh?
The lady of my desire? The Rachel girl from the TV show “Glee” (Lea Michele). This was before those provocative GQ photos of her and others came out in November 2010. The odd thing is that I really don’t find her attractive and don’t give her much thought.
Also that night but a different dream (I probably woke up in between), I encountered a guy(s) from the way past. It was a high school friend of my older brother, named Lance - OR - it was HIS older brother, Howard, who was a friend of the next door neighbor. I also knew Howard from my college as he turned up as a Teacher’s Assistant in one of my Finance classes (reality not dream). I have not seen him since then. In the dream, I remember trying to figure out which one it was, Lance or Howard.
How I would think of these guys or even clearly recall their names is beyond me. The brain is a crazy thing.

“Shiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather.”

MSSIMH:
“Venus in Furs”, Velvet Underground – I had played the song the day before on my WMP.
DREAM:
I am at my parents’ house in my old bedroom, sharing a bed with my aunt, uncle and a cousin (no sex! Just sleep, you pervs!). Another aunt, uncle, cousin are in another bed. Their appearance is not strange since Thanksgiving is coming up and I expect to be seeing them next week.

MSSIMH:
“Got My Mind Set On You” by George Harrison - I am not sure how this song got in my head. I don’t remember hearing it recently and I don’t really care for the song. If it had come on the radio, I probably would’ve changed the radio station.

MSSIMH:
The “Scooby-Doo” theme song. You know the one. “Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where Are You?” This is beyond bizarre. I cannot imagine the last time I saw a “Scooby-Doo” cartoon or heard the theme song.
DREAM:
I am driving down a residential street and I get a little lost. Suddenly I am at a cul-de-sac. To the right is a driveway that connects to the next street and where I want to go. I think about taking it but figure that would be rude.
I turn my car around when I see a woman (dark hair, navy blue skirt and sweater, white collar, don’t recognize) waving her arm around in an exaggerated circle. I point back at the driveway as if to say “it’s okay to take the driveway”. She shakes her head “no” with condescending look on her face. I roll down in the window and yell to her “you saw me turning around. Why do you have to be so rude.” I am just about to turn the car around and take the driveway just to spite this beyotch when I wake up.
